Cameron Mitchell Opening Farm-to-Table Restaurant in The Joseph Hotel

The Pizzuti Companies and Cameron Mitchell Restaurants jointly announced today that a new farm-to-table concept called The Guild House will be the official restaurant of the Le Méridien boutique hotel known as The Joseph that is currently under construction in The Short North.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Cameron Mitchell Restaurants to our new hotel,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, president of The Pizzuti Companies. “The new farm-to-table concept will be an exciting dining option unlike anything else in the Short North.”

In addition to operating the restaurant, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) will provide room service, banquet and event catering services for the new building.

“This year marks our 21st year in business, and we are excited to develop and open three new diverse restaurants in our hometown this year and next, including this announcement of plans for The Guild House,” said Cameron Mitchell, founder of CMR. ”Our company truly enjoys the creation of something new, and the opportunity to introduce fresh, exciting concepts. Continuing our growth with additional development in the Short North at an exceptional property like Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph is the perfect way to support our communities and give back to Columbus.”

The 6,000 square foot restaurant is scheduled to open in January 2015, coinciding with the opening of the hotel. It will seat over 140 guests across the main restaurant, bar area and private dining room for 10 guests. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Guild House concept focuses on sustainability, artistry and global diversity with a menu that includes many locally sourced ingredients and wines from around the world.

“The attention to detail and quality of services provided by Cameron Mitchell Restaurants are second to none,” Pizzuti said. “The combination of the Cameron Mitchell dining experience and a truly unique hotel atmosphere will make Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph the premier destination in Columbus.”
