I’m excited to announce that we are now pouring our second release of Cameron’s Cuvée, our exclusive private celebration wine. It has been an honor to collaborate once again with Trefethen Family Vineyards in creating this signature red blend.

This week, I was deeply honored to be named 2015 CEO of the Year by CEO Magazine. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to accept this award, not just for myself, but on behalf of every member of the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ family.

Our chefs have outdone themselves this fall with outstanding seasonal additions to our menus. Our guests are raving about our brand new creations and nostalgic classics - all featuring the warm and comforting flavors and ingredients of the season.

Cap City Fine Diner’s Executive Chef Dan Manley recently teamed up with 13-year-old Sydney Mazik for a cooking demonstration at Granville Middle School. The duo partnered through Kids & Chefs Cook for Success after Sydney won the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge for Ohio earlier this year with her recipe for spaghetti squash asparagus pie. Chef Dan and Sydney prepared vegetable risotto from scratch for three family and consumer sciences classes at Sydney’s school.

Two of our regional chefs, Mike Denton and Jamie Kline, just returned from Alaska with the first Dutch Harbor Red King Crab catch of the year. Ocean Prime is on the short list of restaurants to have access to the first catch of the season – most restaurants won’t be receiving their orders until next week or later – ours is available at all Ocean Prime locations beginning today! The Alaska King Crab season won’t officially be open until tomorrow, which means the rest of the catch won’t reach Dutch Harbor for another few weeks.

We are thrilled to announce that our award-winning modern American restaurant and lounge, Ocean Prime will open its 13th location nationwide in Washington, DC in October 2016. Our first foray into the nation’s capital, Ocean Prime will be located in the Colorado Building at 1341 G Street, NW. Serving lunch Monday through Friday and dinner nightly, Ocean Prime will offer guests prime seafood, steaks, handcrafted cocktails and world-class wines in a captivating ambiance with signature genuine hospitality.

OCEAN PRIME Philadelphia today announces new leadership with the appointment of Executive Chef Jason Shelley and General Manager Frank Hess. Both gentlemen have been a part of the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) family for many years, and are excited to share CMR’s passion for delivering genuine hospitality with Philadelphians.

We're Tickled Pink for Cap City's Anniversary!
In honor of our 20th anniversary, we are featuring a Pink Velvet Cake for Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Cap City. A portion of proceeds from every piece sold will be donated to Susan G. Komen Columbus.

We recently recognized five associates and one restaurant for their outstanding performance in 2015. The awards were presented at our annual Leadership Conference, which was held in California's Napa Valley earlier this month.

Katherine Domnici is the sales and events manager at Mitchell’s Ocean Club and a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) for Columbus, Ohio. She has been a member of the Cameron Mitchell family since 2008 when she joined the guest services team at Ocean Club.

13-year-old Sydney Mazik is the Ohio winner in a national recipe contest, which earned her an invitation to recently visit The White House and represent Ohio at the Kid’s State Dinner.

We are thrilled to introduce our Guild Series Gin – our first-ever signature spirit – developed in partnership with Columbus, Ohio’s Watershed Distillery.

The fresh, luscious flavors of Sonoma Valley are coming from garden to plate at Ocean Prime this summer. The award-winning restaurant is offering guests a Flavors of Sonoma seasonal menu starting today for a limited time.
