We are excited to announce that five of our restaurants were voted winners in 614 Magazine's ‘ColumBEST Readers' Poll 2015.’ Congratulations to Cap City, The Guild House, M and Marcella's!

Earlier this year, Sous Chef Melissa Meola of Marcella’s in the Short North, became the first woman ever to take top honors at the Ohio Pork Council’s Taste of Elegance cooking competition. Melissa’s outstanding pork recipes earned her the coveted Chef Par Excellence award and a trip to Napa to attend the National Pork Summit.

Mezcal is a tequila-like, smoky flavored Mexican spirit made from agave plant. This cocktail combines mezcal and silver tequila in an elevated margarita-style libation. The fresh basil and jalapeño impart a complex and exotic flavor, making uniquely provocative and refreshing.

We recently had a chance to catch up with Executive Pastry Chef Summer Schott about her career and what's happening in the pastry world. Summer has been a member of the Cameron Mitchell team since 2005.

This simple mixture is a great base for experimentation. For example, if you add an egg white and shake before serving, you'll have a frothy Boston Sour - or you could add a half ounce or so of a fruity red wine for a New York Sour.

We’ve thought for some time that our Pub Burger at The Pearl is the best in Columbus, so we’re putting our burger where our mouth is, so to speak. On April 23, we will be facing off against some other great restaurants in town for the ultimate burger bragging rights at the second annual Best Bites: Burgers event, sponsored by Columbus Underground and Shadowbox Live.

We are thrilled to announce that four of our restaurants were voted winners in Columbus Monthly’sBest of Columbus 2015 Readers’ Poll.’ Congratulations to Cap City, Marcella’s, Molly Woo’s and The Pearl!

This lamb recipe is perfect for Easter. I recommend serving it with a spring pea and wild mushroom sauté and au gratin potatoes.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the outstanding women who are valued members of the Cameron Mitchell family.

We strive to create a culture of support and empowerment for all of our associates – and we are grateful to all of the women who work every day to make our company better.

Our tasting team recently traveled to The Woodford Reserve distillery to create our second distinctive bourbon blend for The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek.

This is the perfect cocktail for patio sipping in the springtime. The fresh cucumber, lime and cilantro combine to make the Cucumber Smash unique and refreshing while the jalapeno-infused agave nectar balances out the flavors with a sweet and spicy kick.
