Seafood is so healthy, versatile and delicious. It’s high in protein, but low in calories and saturated fat, so it’s great for weight control. It’s rich in vitamins, minerals and Omega-3 Fatty Acids, which offer a variety of benefits, like promoting heart and brain health.

It’s also important to be healthful when you prepare fish. You just want to enhance its natural goodness without adding a whole lot of extra calories and unhealthy fats. Skip the batter, breading and deep-frying and opt instead for grilled, baked, steamed or poached fish. You can experiment with all kinds of seasonings, but you can’t go wrong with just a little sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper and lemon juice.
