Server + Trainer | Mitchell's Ocean Club
Mark Sobotowski joined the Cameron Mitchell team around 13 years ago during the opening of M at Miranova as a server assistant. An Ohio State student at the time, Mark was promoted to server and then trainer before transferring to Mitchell’s Ocean Club for its re-grand opening in 2006. Mark has remained a server and trainer at MOC while also traveling to all new Ocean Prime openings and training to train the service staff.
The Cameron Mitchell philosophy of putting associates first is what Mark cites as the reason for his longevity with the company. He believes the way we take care of people in our restaurants is a very special and unique thing to find in the hospitality industry. Associates are appreciated and uplifted by the company, so they come to work with a positive attitude and take the best possible care of each and every guest.
Mark enjoys coming to work every day because he is consistently learning and growing as a person and because he genuinely loves the people he works with. He believes that the culture of personal empowerment at CMR has contributed greatly to giving him the opportunity cultivate himself and his relationships in such a positive and inspirational environment.
