Mike Redcay’s charisma and expertise make him a distinctly respected member of the Cameron Mitchell Premier Events team. He began working in our catering division in 2006, bringing with him years of experience in hotel and airline hospitality.
One of our most well-rounded events professionals, Mike has developed expertise in numerous facets of the business. He has held a variety of positions within the company, including event coordinator, logistics (managing trucks and warehouses) and general manager of our two proprietary venues before being promoted to co-general manager and ultimately general manager of CMPE.
Although he jokes that he came to Cameron Mitchell Restaurants because of his affinity for the meatloaf at Cap City, Mike will admit that the company’s reputation may have been a factor in his choosing to work with us. He is proud to have been an integral part of the catering division’s evolution into Central Ohio’s premier event planning and catering company. He genuinely enjoys his job as well as working alongside his team, which he likens to a family. Mike feels a sense of pride and ownership at CMPE and looks forward to continuing to contribute his talents to the growth and success of the company.
