Sous Chef at Ocean Prime Denver
Julia King has been dedicated and passionate about the culinary arts for a very long time. She has not only spent the past 10 years cooking but also focusing on her culinary education. In high school, she completed the Warren Tech Culinary Program in Colorado. She later graduated from the Rocky Mountain Community College Chefs’ Apprenticeship program at the Broadmoor Hotel.
Before joining the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants family 2 years ago, Julia worked at several Troy Guard concepts including Guard and Grace in Denver.
Julia remembers first being introduced to CMR when she visited Ocean Prime while looking for a sponsoring house for her culinary program. She knew right away that she would love to work for CMR one day.
One of her favorite parts of her job is growing and thriving with the talented management team and associates. Most specifically, she was thrilled to work with Chef Taylor Kellanaers, who she attended culinary school with and has known for much of her life. She feels he truly is an inspirational raving fan and true example of what CMR is all about.
